Pass Bike provides a range of motorcycles and scooters to suit each student including lowered seat heights.
Revolutionary, is a word that gets overused. Segway introduced their Moped and 125cc equivalent range into the UK and instantly changed the expectation of an electric Scooter. The E110 Scooters we use for CBT courses are put simply the easiest bikes we have ever ridden. Not only do they have class leading handling, brakes and comfort but the power delivery is identical to the petrol moped equivalent.
There are many technological advances in the Segway Scooter, none detract from the riding experience. We take our environmental responsibilities seriously but are always conscious that we must have machinery that is perfect for learning. As an Approved Segway Rider Training Centre we believe we can honestly say we have achieved both.
It's no surprise that we chose the new AJS Bilston when our manual 125cc CBT fleet came up for renewal. AJS have been producing Motorcycles since 1909 and have developed their machines with a lifetimes worth of experience and dedication from three generations of the same family.
The Bilston is a great neo classic styled Motorcycle, easy handling, light steering, linked braking system, smooth transmission and a realistically ratio’d first gear makes it a treat to learn on. Its low seat height makes it easy to handle whilst powerful enough not to be over burdened by a larger rider. And they sound good too!
Pass Bike provide Honda CB300Rs which are new for 2022. Honda are one of the worlds largest motorcycle manufactures and the Honda CB300R is part of the Neo Cafe Range of Motorcycles. The CB300R has been adapted for Pass Bike students with a lowering kit to make the seat height 710mm which means it suitable for all riders.
The bike benfits from using the same chassis as the CB125R which makes it very easy to handle on the Module 1 Maneuvers which combined with the twin chanel ABS and premium suspension make it perfect for learning to ride. So pop down to our training centre and try one for size. Category A2 students take their test on a Honda CB300R.
Obtain your A2 Automatic Licence on a Honda SH300!
Pass Bike provide Honda SH300s. Honda are one of the worlds largest motorcycle manufactures and the Honda SH300 makes light work of the learning to ride. The Scooter benfits from using the same chassis as the SH125 which makes it very easy to handle on the Module 1 Maneuvers which combined with the twin chanel ABS and premium suspension make it perfect for learning to ride. Honda describe the SH300 as the ideal city and out of town scooter the scooter makes it a natural progression from a 125 without too much of a jump in terms of capacity, weight or power. So pop down to our training centre and try one for size.
Category A students take their test on a "big bike" so it makes sense to train on a big bike, especially if your riding aspirations are over 600cc!
Pass Bike provide Suzuki SV650s which are new for 2020. Suzuki are one of the worlds largest motorcycle manufactures and the SV650 has been a staple in the range and now is in its 3rd Generation. The SV650 uses a liquid cooled 8 valve V twin engine producing 75 hp exceeding the new 2019 DVSA regulations. High specification features like ABS, digital display, gear position indicator and Suzukis own frame design make the bike both light to handle and smooth to ride aided by Suzukis low RPM assist to help new riders. Braking is through twin front disk and a single rear disk providing a superb balance of power when stopping quickly. Easy to ride slowly, enjoyable to ride quickly, comfortable all day (our testers ran for 400 miles some days and were not uncomfortable.) The Suzuki SV650 is a great bike to learn on and ride.
When the new SV650 was reviewed by MCN they said: "The reworked 2016-on Suzuki SV650 is a fun little bike that will appeal to new riders and give older ones a thrill too. It’s more refined than the outgoing Gladius, has impressive new features including ABS, Digital Dash and Low RPM Assist"
All of Pass Bikes training motorcycles can be adjusted to suit varying heights of rider, don't be put off by thinking that a category A bike is physically too large for you. The bikes can be lowered to suit shorter riders, our lowest setting gives us a class leading height of 730mm (lower than most Harleys!). If this is still not low enough, We have our own in house workshop with qualified technicians who are only to happy to discuss any adjustments that need to be made for your course. You are more than welcome to pop down to our Motorcycle Training Centre and try one for size.
From our purpose built training centre in Rochford, Passbike offer a comprehensive range of services from training to motorcycle repairs and sales. We have a fantastic team of dedicated professionals with years of experience in the industry.
