Of course we hope that accidents won’t happen. But it’s a fact that as a motorcyclist your are more vulnerable that other road users. Having a good knowledge of what to do if a fellow rider is involved in an accident is invaluable.
This level 3 course has been written by dedicated Paramedic Trainers and Doctors who are Professional Motorcyclists. Aimed at those riders who find themselves First on Scene this training package uses the same techniques practiced by the NHS Ambulance services.
The course is very practical usually taking 3 hours to complete and is delivered by Paramount Medical Training in Southend on Sea Essex.
Paramount delivers exceptional quality first aid training overseen by its very hands on MD Dr Dean Stuart. Dean is an accomplished Trainer who worked alongside Pass Bikes MD and Chief Instructor Ian Burrell MBE AMIMI. Both Authors are former HCPC Emergency Paramedic and Practice Placement Educators (Pped) in the NHS Ambulance Service.
The Course was originally written by Ian during his NHS Career initially in 2010. It was then adapted and delivered exclusively on Pass Bikes Instructor Training Programme. Now in 2025 the course has been abridged and edited by Dean to bring the skills bang up to date for its commercial qualification launch. The former crewmates have around 30 years of experience in Emergency Paramedicine together. Sadly the course authors and tutors have attended real world incidents involving motorcycles, their experience is invaluable and unparalleled at this level.
Making Motorcycle Emergency First Aid available to everyone is their answer to sharing the confidence needed to help a fellow rider in distress. No former medical training or expertise is required to take this course. It is recommended that you bring your own safety helmet for comfort.
