Pass Bike Motorcycle Instructor Course Delivery of CBT. This practical section gives hands on roll play practice in delivering a CBT course. Every element of the syllabus is covered. Delivered using the Pass Bike Instructor Manual as a base document however candidates are encouraged to make their own notes and adapt lessons to match their own style of delivery using the techniques learned in Part1.

Each day brings a new element of the CBT syllabus, group discussions are encouraged and the assessment of fellow candidates in the role of CPD assessor. With decades of experience in the role of motorcycle instruction the tutors at Pass Bike can bring to life many different student dynamics and situations.  When Competency is demonstrated in the roll play setting  the candidate will be offered the chance to observe and shadow a CBT with live students, under the guidance and supervision of their tutor. This experience is invaluable in cementing the knowledge gained in the course and building confidence in teaching new riders.

Training new riders to reach their full licence differs from CBT in its structure, is regulated differently and can only be undertaken once a DVSA Cardington CBT assessment has been successfully passed. Once this assessment has been completed successfully the instructor can then take the half day DAS assessment at Cardington. Only then can the instructor teach full licence Direct Access courses.

The Pass Bike Motorcycle Instructor Training Course covers the topics of the module one and module two tests in this last section. A one day shadowing session observing a DAS qualified instructor deliver both module 1 and module 2 training at our training centre. Understanding the differences between the two modules, the standard of riding required and test protocols.
